Hoa Phat provided more than 7,000 tons of Prestressed Concrete Bar (PC Bar) to the market

On August 22, 2019, Hoa Phat Equipment and Accessories Co., Ltd celebrated 27 years of establishment ( August 22, 1992 to August 22, 2019). After 27 years being a pioneer in supplying high quality products to the market, Hoa Phat Equipment and Accessories Company has gradually transformed into trading steel (prestressed concrete steel, wire drawing steel) and accomplished many significant achievements in terms of production and sales volume as well. Specifically, in the first six months, the output of annealing wire drawing steel and galvanized reached more than 16,000 tons, prestressed concrete steel ( PC Bar) reached more than 7,000 tons, including 44% of output was exported to the United States, Canada, South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Cambodia and Laos.

Hoa Phat drawing steel wire is considered as one of the highest quality product on the market including low-carbon black steel wire, hot-dipped galvanized steel wire, commonly used in building up constructions, fences, wire mesh… The products certified by the Center for Standard Metrology and Quality (Quacert 1), meet all quality standards such as TCVN, ASTM (USA), BSI (UK) and JISG (Japan).

The company is seeding up the second installation of the hot-dipped galvanized steel wire in Hung Yen currently, in order that the capacity of galvanized wire product could be doubled compared to the present. It is expected that this installation will be accomplished and operated in August 2019.

In term of prestressed concrete steel, the Company started supplying PC Bar to the market since April 2019 with a factory located in Dung Quat Economic Zone, Quang Ngai Province. Immediately, both domestic and international customers paid attention to Hoa Phat prestressed concrete steel. In June 2019, PC Bar products were exported to Taiwan and Cambodia for the first time. Many large companies in Association of prestressed concrete piles have “signed up” to purchase products of Hoa Phat Equipment and Accessories Company.

In the advantage of autonomy in input materials, Hoa Phat prestressed concrete steel factory in Dung Quat Economic Zone, Quang Ngai Province provides 3 high-class products with competitive prices including prestressed concrete steel bars (PC bar), prestressed concrete steel strand (PC Strand) and prestressed concrete steel wire (PC Wire). PC bar phase 1 has been operated since the middle of March 2019.

It is expected that by 2020, the output of drawing steel wire and prestressed concrete steel will reach nearly 200,000 tons per year, achieving domestic demand and boosting exportation”.
